Anna Hoch-Kenney is a multimedia journalist and documentary style photographer based in California’s Bay Area. She has worked as a staff visual journalist for Coastside News and Embarcadero Media, where her work earned multiple California News Publishers Association awards. Her journalism work has been featured in KQED, SFGate, the San Francisco Chronicle, El Tecolote and other outlets. 

She holds a master’s degree in Journalism and Communication from Stanford University.

Anna also works as a freelance photographer documenting weddings, family milestones, and everything in between. 

When she’s not on assignment, Anna can probably be found hunting for hot springs in the Sierras, getting lost on a trail, or hunting for treasures in thrift stores.
